Turn your skills into a business you love
We believe that every woman has the power to take the reins and write her own story. Regardless of where you were born, your first language, or what you’ve lived through—you have what it takes.
However, we also understand that starting a business as a migrant woman comes with its own unique set of challenges. Cultural adjustments, language barriers, building networks from scratch—these are real obstacles. But they don’t define your potential.
At Girl in Motion, we see these challenges clearly. And we’re here to help you navigate them with confidence, community, and support designed specifically for your journey.
We’re embracing tech to create something that’s never existed before—a space where migrant women entrepreneurs can truly belong.
Technology lets us think differently. It opens up new possibilities to reach more women with innovative support tailored to your needs. It’s the tool that lets us break the traditional mold of entrepreneurial support.
Because entrepreneurship shouldn’t require you to shrink yourself or fit into someone else’s box.
We’re equipping you with real knowledge, genuine community, and support that actually gets your journey.
Hello, I am Nat! Founder of Girl in Motion.
With roots in Argentina and over two decades of experience living in New Zealand, I deeply understand the challenges faced by migrant women. I believe that with the right mindset, support, and resources, any woman can start her own business. However, I also recognise that we don’t all start from the same place, and this is especially true for us, migrants.
Starting anew in a different country presents unique hurdles, and it can be more challenging for us to chase the dream of business ownership. That’s why I’ve started Girl in Motion. My mission is to break down barriers, empowering more migrant and former refugee women to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
At Girl in Motion, we are committed to empowering migrant and former refugee women through a variety of impactful programs and initiatives:
A note from our founder
Hi, I’m Nat, founder of Girl in Motion.
With roots in Argentina and over two decades in New Zealand, I’ve experienced the migrant journey firsthand. And I’ve seen something incredible: migrant women are some of the most talented, resilient, and visionary entrepreneurs out there.
Girl in Motion is born from my belief that as migrant women we deserve more. More support. More community. More celebration.
As a mother, I’m passionate about creating opportunities that empower women today—because that builds a brighter, more vibrant future for our children and for Aotearoa. When migrant women thrive, we all thrive.
I’m here to create a space where you can shine. Where your culture is your strength. Where your business reflects who you truly are. Where you’re celebrated, not just supported.
Together, we’re building something special—a community, a movement, a better Aotearoa.
We invite you to become a vital part of this transformative journey. Whether you are passionate about supporting migrant communities or eager to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you. Our mission thrives on collaboration and community support.
Let’s connect and explore how we can work together to empower migrant and refugee women, fostering a more inclusive and prosperous society.
